The Klingenschmitt Article on Juan McCain

Or: The 9th Reason

by Jeff "Mario" Smith

March 29th in the year of our Lord 2008

Lt. Gordon James Klingenschmitt, whom I respect highly, misses the point and buys into the very problem that is plaguing America politically, that being the corrupt two party political system. The concept of being a republicrat or demonrat is one I cannot understand and never could. Why would anyone become part of a "party" that sets agendas that they may not agree with, sometimes getting into areas that speak to the very soul of the individual?

The very concept of being a "lifelong republican" or "lifelong democrat" means one has to compromise his or her principles in order to support "the party". Decent, though I would argue naïve, democrats are expected to support the extreme left candidates simply because they have the dreaded “D” after their name. Likewise, conservative republicans are expected to support the liberals in their “party” because they carry an “R” after their name.

That is the problem. Once people have bought into the idea that they should support an entity that does not agree with them on important issues, usually only because the one other party is worse, then the party can gradually move in one political direction or another, with their support. We have witnessed an accelerated leftward movement in the republicrat party under President George W. Bush. Under John "Juan" McCain, you can rest assured, the acceleration curve will increase its slope. McCain did not even support the best and most conservative thing the Bush Administration did, that being the tax cut.

Supporting Juan McCain sends a message to the republicrat party that all is ok and they can continue their move to the big government, tax and spend, amnesty supporting, borderless North America, anti-gun, socialist left. This independent conservative will no longer be manipulated into supporting the "lesser of two evils" just because the demonrats are worse. It is time to, as they say in da hood, 'slap em up side da haid’.

The republicrat party needs to hear from conservatives and what they need to hear is, “NO, we are tired of being your mistresses receiving all sorts of promises and threats that the alternative is worse only to see you return to your leftist friends in the gubbament cheese monster once you have received your elected seats of power”.

It is time to slap the republicrat party and slap it hard, like we mean it, and we do! Nancy Reagan's endorsement of Juan McCain surely has her Ronnie turning over in his grave. Thank God great conservative icon William F. Buckley did not have to witness Nancy’s mistake! McCain has done everything he can to move the party away from Reagan conservatism and poor Nancy, being the "good republican", is letting them use her for their nefarious purposes. Instead Mrs. Ronald Wilson Reagan could have used this opportunity to tell the republicrat party to go back to the principles that her husband, arguably the greatest President of the 20th Century, so plainly laid out for us.

Unfortunately, Veteran Klingenschmitt misses reason number nine not to vote for Juan McCain. The ninth reason, which I place at the top of the list in the number one position, is Juan McCain's collusion with John "Ho Chi" Kerry to abandon once and for all the POWs held back by the communists in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. The 92 Senate Select Committee Hearings on POWs and MIAs videos and written record, along with the testimonies of people who were there, proves it. See the DVD “Missing, Presumed Dead” by Bill Dumas for an excellent documentary on this situation.

I charge Juan McCain with placing the issue of normalized relations with Vietnam above the issue of our POWs being held back by the communists for reparations and never returned. That is just inexcusable, speaks of a very low character, wreaks of treason, and makes one wonder why Juan McCain worked so hard to hide so many of the files connected with his time in Vietnam as a POW. Is it that Juan McCain is the Manchurian Candidate? Or is it that Juan McCain stands to gain a fortune in revenue through the stock holdings of his rich blond wife he abandoned his disabled wife for once trade with Vietnam hits the big times? I don't know and I don't care. I know all I need to know about Juan McCain and he will not get my vote, even if it does mean that a demonrat radical black separatist or the liberal hildabeast will be the next President as conservatives pull away from "the party". We simply cannot afford to empower the republicrat party any more to continue its goosestep to the left.

In harmony with Chaplain Klingenschmitt, I think I will write in Alan Keyes whom I supported in 2000 against the other republicrats in that primary. I have a secret to tell. Alan Keyes was the first presidential candidate I ever donated money to. I have heard that Keyes has naively supported reparations for slavery but have not seen it documented. Even so, he can't win, and I have to make a statement with my vote and remove myself from the game of "the lesser of two evils". What say you?
