I'm very concerned about 'gun violence', 'knife violence' and most certainly 'baseball bat violence.'  I want all of these terrible things regulated and eventually banned. Well, Spring is here and duty calls. This "Old Man" can hardly afford to hire a lawn care crew as he has to do most of the work around the house himself.  I guess this type of work is what keeps me limber and able to "pluck" away on my computer.  But, as one knows, it hardly allows for getting anything else done and as my Dear Father often said, "Things don't take care of or correct themselves." Terry’s Tidbits – of Sorts            By Terry Gray

For those of you following the Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean story, here is where you can write them.  To jog some memories, Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean were arrested for shooting a Mexican drug smuggler in the butt.  They were tried and convicted and sentenced to ten years in federal prison.  The Mexican drug smuggler was later caught smuggling drugs again.  This time however he was given free medical treatment by our government and forgiven for his crimes.  To show his appreciation he is suing our government for five million dollars.  Meanwhile, Ramos and Compean are serving their sentences for doing their jobs.  Ramos was tossed in with the general population when he first reported to prison and was subsequently beaten badly by people shouting, “kill the border agent”.                 (click to read more)
