“[State controlled] education is a weapon, whose effect depends on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.” – Joseph Stalin
"[I]f you serve a child a rotten hamburger in America, federal, state, and local agencies will investigate you, summon you, close you down, whatever. But if you provide a child with a rotten education, nothing happens, except that you're liable to be given more money to do it with." --Ronald Reagan
“Give me four
years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be
uprooted.” - Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (1870-1924) |
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."—Thomas Jefferson (U.S. President and founder of the University of Virginia)
Our Irrational Fear Of Guns Is Killing Us By Theresa Fritz Camoriano It is often said that guns are dangerous. I agree. Guns are very dangerous. They kill many people each year, but that is not a good reason to fear them or to try to eliminate them from the face of the earth. (click to read more)
GUN VIOLENCE By (Ex POW) Major Mark Smith I'm very concerned about 'gun violence', 'knife violence' and most certainly 'baseball bat violence.' I want all of these terrible things regulated and eventually banned. By God it is time to take our streets and schools back. I'm very worried about 'steak knife violence' but SIZZLERS is running a massive cover-up on that. You get a big name lobby group like that behind it and soon it will spread to schools and our kids will be rump roast in first grade. (click to read more)
Where will you be? By Norm Davis A number of these other pompous asses in D.C. that will want to now start the war on guns will cry and whine in attempting to get the guns. Carolyn McCarthy of New York has been on a “get them guns” agenda from day one. (click to read more)
Will They Now Disarm Us? By Terry Gray They will scream from the rooftops now, “We need more gun control.” They will refuse to see logic or look at facts. Not one anti -gun law in this country has diminished violence - Criminals do not heed laws - Only those who are armed can successfully fight against others who are armed. (click to read more)
Stop Mexican mystery trucks By Henry Lamb The parade of tractor-trailer trucks now heading toward the nation's capital hopes to bring D.C. traffic to a standstill April 23-24. The protest is against the recent announcement that Mexican trucks will be allowed to deliver goods directly from Mexican ports to customers anywhere in the United States. (click to read more)

Old Libertarian Ho’ reflects on the Politically Incorrect Good Old Days By Donna Mancini “ Damn, I wish I could get someone Rich and Famous to insult me on Prime time TV…” When I was a kid, and people said” mean” things about you, the basic comeback was " it takes one to call one", or "I don't care what you call me as long as you call me to dinner " and went on with your business!! Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me “ was the received wisdom of the day. (click to read more)
RE: Wanted To Rent Section 8 Housing By Thomas Crane
Dear Dude
(Professor) and Fellow Members,
Terry’s Tidbits – of Sorts By Terry Gray For those of you following the Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean story, here is where you can write them. To jog some memories, Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean were arrested for shooting a Mexican drug smuggler in the butt. They were tried and convicted and sentenced to ten years in federal prison. The Mexican drug smuggler was later caught smuggling drugs again. This time however he was given free medical treatment by our government and forgiven for his crimes. To show his appreciation he is suing our government for five million dollars. Meanwhile, Ramos and Compean are serving their sentences for doing their jobs. Ramos was tossed in with the general population when he first reported to prison and was subsequently beaten badly by people shouting, “kill the border agent”. (click to read more)
"All of these massacres, these terrorist attacks, have genuine possibilities for being stopped dead in their tracks if they encounter a well-armed, well-trained, educated public vigilant to defend their freedoms...[T]he proper public response is to promote the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. We can stop this evil if we choose to. Let's roll." ---Andrew Longman

You want a safer campus? It begins with renewing a culture of self-defense -- mind, spirit and body. It begins with two words: Fight back. – Michelle Malkin There is a striking paradox associated with mass murders. They are far more likely to occur in areas that have been designated as gun-free zones. – Charl van Wyk
Only one policy has ever been shown to deter mass murder: concealed-carry laws. In a comprehensive study of all public, multiple-shooting incidents in America between 1977 and 1999, the inestimable economists John Lott and Bill Landes found that concealed-carry laws were the only laws that had any beneficial effect. – Ann Coulter
"Too many Americans lack perspective... They ignore real problems and challenges and contrive silly ones. They praise people who are truly evil and demonize people, flawed though they may be, who are trying to do good. They lack the ability to discern. And if America doesn't regain its perspective, it will lose the overwhelming blessings it continues to receive." ---Tom Purcell
