While Lexington residents and visitors enjoyed the Parade and NCAA basketball on St. Patrick’s Day, concerned citizens were in Washington, DC to stop the anti-war left from desecrating our War Memorials with their signature hateful messages, leftist rhetoric, and vandalism.

As history was made with patriots outnumbering leftists four or five to one, this first major “protesting of the protesters”, organized in a mere 45 days, was mostly ignored by the mainstream media, as I easily predicted.

The H-L article stated, “A counterprotest was staged too…”, as if our group was insignificant, and then went on to make the points for the anti-war left, which has been active for five years. How irresponsible!

Some in the media are labeling our group “pro war” because we disagree with the anti-war message and its aiding and abetting of our enemies. Nobody is more anti-war than those who fought in war, their families who suffered, and those who serve in uniform now. This will never be understood due to the youthful naivety of the anti-war crowd.

The most powerful tool used by the media in the furtherance of their leftist agenda is omission. Don’t report it, or under report it, and the people won’t talk about it. Citizens must pay attention in these dark days of misinformation and propaganda and seek outside of the mainstream if they are to be informed.
