The ‘International Baccalaureate Programme’ is UN-American

By Jeff “Mario” Smith, Guerilla Reporter

January 9 in the year of our Lord 2007

We simply MUST stop the IB! The following description comes from Alan Quist of www.edwatch.org and explains what the IB Programme is actually all about. It is being foisted upon unsuspecting parents in what sounds like a wonderful educational opportunity as it is marketed, but in essence is totally UN-American to its core. There is un-American and then there is UN-American, which is anything using the United Nations, to undermine American interests and sovereignty. This means the eventual destruction of our Constitution of course. Can’t we already see that happening? Do you think these people doing this were not educated in our subverted government controlled “education” system and our very left colleges and universities?

From Dr. Quist: “It is run by a non-governmental organization called the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It was organized in 1968 by European diplomats who wanted their children to have a common undergraduate program. In 1996, however, IBO formed a partnership with UNESCO in order to create what both UNESCO and IBO call an international education system.

One of the IB World Schools web sites defines IB as follows:

What makes the program international?

IB programs exist in schools in 90 countries worldwide. Every spring, IB students around the world take identical exams on the same day in various subjects. These exams are sent to other parts of the world [after being sent to Geneva] for grading. [Grading] is based on an international standard.

In addition, IBO insists that it will train and certify teachers for IB at the expense of the local school district, of course.” [This means taxpayers are supporting an international agenda. If you think you have lost control of your child’s education due to federal control, wait until the UN is totally in charge!{Guerilla Reporter 1-8-2007}]

Also from Dr. Quist: International Baccalaureate endorses the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights [UDHR]. As is stated in the IBO article Myths and Facts.” [Sound good? Have you checked the record of UN Human rights?]

Again from Dr. Quist: By endorsing the UDHR, IBO undermines the foundation principle of the United States that human rights, such as the rights to life, liberty and property, are inherent and inalienable, and must be protected by government, as is stated in our Declaration of Independence. The issue is which has greater standing and authority, our God-given, inalienable human rights or the policies of a particular government. The Declaration of Independence, the [declared] foundation of the United States, insists on the former. The UDHR insists on the latter, as stated, once again, as follows: These rights and freedoms may in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations [article 29, paragraph 3]. The view of human rights held by the United States is the foundation of liberty. The view of the United Nations is the foundation of totalitarianism.

As you all should know by now, there is a culture war for the soul of America. It is larger in scope than the tug of war for power we read about every day between the demonrats and republicrats that have stolen our representative government and replaced it with party government. It is bigger than conservative versus liberal, or right versus left, although the right versus left is closer to what this war is all about. And make no mistake about it, this is indeed a war.

Our Founding Fathers who started this Constitutional Republic and bequeathed it to us went into an extremely tough physical war with Great Britain in order to secure our God endowed Liberty and ever since securing our inalienable rights endowed by our Creator, the powers of evil have been trying to steal it. The war is now being conducted clandestinely, for the most part, right under our noses while we entertain our selves into a drunken stupor of complacency. I contend it is a war between light and dark.

Recently, while traversing LEFTington's infamous clogged traffic arteries to take my child and a friend of hers somewhere, I noticed a sign on the side of the road advertising a meeting at Tates Creek High School in LEFTington, KY coming up about the International Baccalaureate Program, or IB. The IB is a program that seeks to undermine our education system, which I would say has already been subverted into a system of indoctrination, by setting United Nations declared objectives as supreme over our own national objectives called out in our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, among other founding documents.

Here is information on the Tates Creek High School website about the IB: http://www.fcps.net/magnets/tatescreek-ib.htm To highlight this program's international aspect, they even spell program "programme". See www.edwatch.org for more information and do a search for IB there. Your eyes should be opened.

The Tates Creek HS website page explains, "We are pleased to announce the pending arrival of The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Tates Creek High School in August of 2007. The International Baccalaureate Organization, which began in 1968 in Geneva, Switzerland, aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the IBO works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment." Sounds great, doesn't it? If you think you are contributing to the reclaiming of Lady Liberty from those who have stolen her by going to the voting booth, you are expending your energies in the wrong areas. Those who wish to change the social structure of this great Christian Constitutional Republic into a New World Order Secular Humanist state under the auspices of the United Nations know what they are doing. They stole the education system decades ago and have slowly ingrained their worldview into our textbooks and teaching standards over the years. This I can prove. A quick read of John A. Stormer's book "None Dare Call It Education" will give you a primer of the problem.

"[State controlled] education is a weapon, whose effect depends on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed."

--Josef Stalin, Atheist Communist Totalitarian Dictator and Mass Murderer whom Roosevelt called affectionately "Uncle Joe".

"Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sewn will never be uprooted."

--Vladimir Illyich Lenin (1870-1924) Co-architect of the Communist Manifesto; Predecessor to mass-murderer Stalin

"The schools cannot allow parents to influence the kind of values-education their children receive in school; that is what is wrong with those who say there is a universal system of values. Our (humanistic) goals are incompatible with theirs. We must change their values."
--Paul Haubner, specialist for the N.E.A.

"Among the elementary measures the American Soviet government will adopt to further the cultural revolution are...[a] National Department of Education...the studies will be revolutionized, being cleansed of religious, patriotic, and other features of the bourgeois ideology. The students will be taught the basis of Marxian dialectical materialism, internationalism and the general ethics of the new Socialist society."
--William Z. Foster, Toward Soviet America, 1932 National Chairman of the American Communist Party (1933-44, 1945-57)

"By the year 2000 we will, I hope, raise our children to believe in human potential, not God."

     --Gloria Steinem

"It is enough for children to learn to count to ten and follow simple instructions." "If there are still people in Germany today who say, 'we will not join your community, we will remain as we are,' then I reply: you will pass on but after you will come a generation that knows nothing else."
     --Adolf Hitler

"It is inappropriate (to allow parents) to design the curriculum and to run the school."

--Rod Paige, George W. Bush's Education Secretary, September 2001

"Parent's attitudes about what they want for their children represent one of the greatest barriers to successful implementation of school-to-work."
--U.S. Department of Education's Office of Educational Research and Improvement

The philosophy of the classroom today is the philosophy of the Government tomorrow."
     --Abraham Lincoln

"The big problem in the long process of dumbing down the schools is that you can reach a point of no return. How are parents who never received a decent education themselves to recognize that their children are not getting a decent education?"
     --Thomas Sowell

"If government could create jobs and raise children, socialism would have worked."
     --George Gilder

From the Founder of Modern Education: Socialist John Dewey

1896
"It is one of the great mistakes of education to make reading and writing constitute the bulk of the school work the first two years. The true way is to teach them incidentally as the outgrowth of the social activities at this time. Thus language is not primarily the expression of thought, but the means of social communication ... If language is abstracted from social activity, and made an end in itself, it will not give its whole value as a means of development... It is not claimed that by the method suggested, the child will learn to read as much, nor perhaps as readily in a given period as by the usual method. That he will make more rapid progress later when the true language interest develops ... can be claimed with confidence."

1899: School and Society
"The tragic weakness of the present school is that it endeavors to prepare future members of the social order in a medium in which the conditions of the social spirit are eminently wanting ... The mere absorbing of facts and truths is so exclusively individual an affair that it tends very naturally to pass into selfishness. There is no obvious social motive the acquirement of mere learning, there is no clear social gain in success thereat."

1916: Democracy and Education
"When knowledge is regarded as originating and developing within an individual, the ties which bind the mental life of one to that of his fellows are ignored and denied. When the social quality of individualized mental operations is denied, it becomes a problem to find connections which will unite an individual with his fellows. Moral individualism is set up by the conscious separation of different centers of life. It has its roots in the notion that the consciousness of each person is wholly private, a self-inclosed continent, intrinsically independent of the ideas, wishes, purposes of everybody else."

1935: Liberalism and Social Action
"The last stand of oligarchical and anti-social seclusion is perpetuation of this purely individualistic notion of intelligence."

The bottom line is this: If we think we are going to gain back our liberties and return America to the nation it was blessed to be by going to the voting booth, while quietly, behind closed doors, and with the direction and guidance of internationalists and globalists at the UN, our children are being indoctrinated in the globalist collectivist mentality of world socialism and its accompanying one-world religion of secular humanism, we are sadly mistaken and dangerously misguided. We can vote and fight for conservative social change all we want, but if we don't take back the federally controlled education system from the socialists who have stolen it, we will sink.

WAKE UP Parents! WAKE UP Americans! WAKE UP Patriots! WAKE UP Veterans! WAKE UP Christians! You are wasting your time while your country, and your children’s future, is stolen.
