Dick and Donna Go to the Pharmacy

Freedom Lovers:

 Tonight I experienced the Nanny  State   to the Hilt ; In all its

infinite wisdom  and Glory........

 My husband had the misfortune of getting the " common cold" and  a sore throat over the weekend,  and after bumming  2 cold pills from his sister, who   was   visiting from Ohio ,  we decided to  go to Walgreens to get some Yummy  Caramel Drumsticks on sale   ( 8/$5.00), and OUR OWN  cold pills.........

 To our surprise   HE  HAD TO  SIGN  A   LOG,  Show a Picture ID,   AND

GET LECTURED  BY  the PHARMACIST TO GET  a    Lousy 12  ADVIL COLD PILLS!!

 We did not EVEN  try to buy a boatload of pills, just  one pack of cold pills.

(Even  if we had it is none of their damn business)

 Fellow Americans: THIS IS SICK!!!

 Dick  had to "register"  we  were informed,   because  " people  who take cold pills are Likely to be making Drugs to get HIGH instead of   just  wanting to dry up   their   SNOT !

 When   will the   do -gooders and the   Ghosts of Puritans past , who apparently  are  hell- bent on making sure no one, anywhere , is ever having any FUN,  just go  away and  leave  the rest of us alone to Live until we Die! Isn't it like "natural " to die? What  is  uncle Sam going to do with  We the  surplus people when  medical science finally  figures out a way to keep us all living until we can't stand it any longer?   If they had any sense, the government would be begging us to party till we puke and die young so we would not be a drain on Medicare and the soon to be Busted  Social  InSecurity ponzi Scheme.

 What is the friggin country coming to????

 Ignore your rights, amd they will definitely  go away.

 More accurately,

 Individual Liberty and Personal Responsibility  Alias  'Freedom'  are  American "HISTORY."
