Democrats Behave Like Sunni Insurgents
Michael Reagan: I've been
wondering why there is something familiar about
the behavior of the Sunni insurgency in Iraq,
and suddenly it dawned on me that we have our
own similar insurgency right here at home -- it
is called the Democrat Party.

The Top 8 Reasons Why Hillary Clinton Is
a Weaker Candidate Than People Think
We've heard a lot about why Hillary Clinton will
be a strong candidate in 2008. In fact, there
are whole books on the subject. However, Hillary
Clinton is actually a much weaker candidate than
many people seem to believe. Here's a short, but
sweet primer that may help explain why that is
the case:

We Are Playing With Fire, and Radiation,
in Iran
Father's Day is coming, that special time when
we honor a generation of men's men who
ruthlessly crushed us in Monopoly. Somehow they
could all negotiate us into submission. Each
ensuing sweetheart deal to save us from paying
at the hotel nudged us closer to the flophouse.
The game always ended with Dad's top hat perched
jauntily on Boardwalk while our little doggie
was hunched, woebegone, on Water Works.

Terry Jeffrey: No Fathers Need Apply
What if God, nature and thousands of year of
human experience turn out to be wrong and
marriage between one man and one woman is not,
in fact, the single best way to bring children
into the world and raise them up to be healthy
adults?

Mac Johnson: When Taxes Start Sneaking
Across the Border...
Illegal immigration is an unsolvable problem.
America should surrender now to the irresistible
will of the leaderless gaggle of semi-literate
busboys and landscapers who stumble northward
with the unbeatable plan of "that way!" in their
diabolical minds. Who can stop these master
criminals? Not the poor little U.S. government!

The Lessons of Zarqawi
I returned home last week in time to celebrate a
great day for freedom: the death of the
terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi thanks to the
skill and diligence of coalition forces -- and
two 500-pound precision guided bombs. But,
welcome as it was, Zarqawi's death is also a
sobering event. It should serve as a reminder
for all Americans of three big truths:

Shameless Spenders Would Squander War Funds in
Congress
A glow radiates from the faces of Washington's
fiscal conservatives these days. The cause: a
string of successes, big and small, in their
long-running effort to throttle Washington's
band of big spenders. These victories have
imbued the determined group of lawmakers who
still believe in limited government with a
long-overdue shot of adrenaline.

Not Above the Law
Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite, a low-profile
second-term Republican from Florida, last
Thursday introduced a resolution repudiating the
stand of her leader, Speaker J. Dennis Hastert.
It avows that a "Congressional office may be
subject to searches and seizures" in an "ongoing
criminal investigation" of a House member. It
would be hard to find any colleagues who now
disagree with her, even though most want to
forget the embarrassing subject.

The Right Angle: Q&A With Greg Gutfeld:
The Cool Conservative
Greg Gutfeld has edited some of the world's most
recognizable magazines -- Men's Health, Stuff
and UK Maxim -- but now he's making a name for
himself on the Internet, first as the
conservative blogger on the liberal Huffington
Post and now as the creator of the brand-new
(and hilarious) Daily Gut.

The Gizz-ette: Blood Feud: Newt and the
Hammer
In making national headlines last week by
hinting he may run for President in '08 and will
make a final decision by the fall of next year,
Newt Gingrich also got in a final kick at a
longtime antagonist: Tom DeLay, the former House
Majority Leader who had resigned as Republican
U.S. Representative from Texas on the same day
that former House Speaker Gingrich made his
provocative luncheon address to the Washington
DC-based Brookings Institute

Than Loved
A new Fox poll reveals that a significant
percentage of the American people are frightened
by Hillary. No word whether Bill was polled on
this particular question.

Bill Bennett
tells the inspiring story of America
America: The Last Best Hope:
Volume I: From the Age of Discovery to a
World at War is a vibrant and
unashamedly patriotic account of what
has made this country great. This first
volume begins before the Founding of the
United States and ends as World War I
looms in Europe. Unlike modern-day
Leftist-influenced histories that treat
the American story largely as a series
of missteps and injustices, this book is
filled with the glory, romance, and
uniqueness of the American experience.
Bill Bennett tells the truth, gets the
facts out, corrects the record, and puts
forward a reasoned, balanced
presentation of the American story. This
book is one of the few American
histories that give us the opportunity
to enjoy the story of our country, and
to take pleasure and pride in what we
have done and become.
