Greasy on POWs

I hope we can learn from our past. What ever happened to facing the truth regardless of how bad it is? Only when we face the truth about our POWs abandoned, both at home and in foreign lands can we ever move on. Not knowing the fate of someone because of classified records or some effort to suppress the truth is not the American way. It may be our government's or some communist government's way but that does not mean it is right.

During a meeting of POW/MIA families some years ago, President H. Bush was told to, "Tell the truth, release the files," in reference to classified files on POW/MIAs from Vietnam. There are still classified files. We have not learned yet. Why not?
