Bill to increase age of compulsory schooling

House Bill 325 (Raise compulsory school age):

Introduced by Rep. Jim Wayne on January 11, 2006, to provide that effective July 1, 2008, until June 30, 2009, compulsory school attendance shall be between the ages of 6 and 17. The bill would raise the maximum age of compulsory schooling to age 18 effective July 1, 2009.
