Bernie Kunkel on the Morning After Pill

Dear KY POST EDITOR:

      Your article: the morning-after pill" regarding Representative Tom Burch's proposed legislation is disturbing.  Pharmacists and doctors would be able to enter into agreements giving druggists the authority to dispense emergency contraception WITHOUT a prescription.  This is a dangerous precedent concerning a most serious matter. The  result will be the killing of unborn children as Senator Dick Roeding so emphatically points out in the article of January 13th. Many abortions will be caused because the emergency contraception blocks the fertilized egg from being implanted on the uterine wall. This bill must be rejected.
