HOW LOW CAN YOU
GO?
BY: MAJOR MARK A "ZIPPO" SMITH, SENIOR
UNITED STATES ARMY-RETIRED
Politicians, leftist media, wacko preachers, and the aging sixties radicals and
their children, chuckle at the new lows they can reach. From producing a bogus
list of ‘heroes' during the elections and choosing to ignore the results as if
they were somehow robbed, to disrupting the funerals of real war heroes, no lie
or tactic is too despicable. How low can they go?
Americans invest, do the research, and market new medicines and products. Our
leftists are overseas and on the NET demanding no return on those investments is
allowed and no copyright should be respected. They play on the emotions of
everyone from the elderly to AIDS patients. After all, shouldn't scientists and
drug companies be part of the "great socialist experiment"?
The answer is an emphatic NO! Like Grandma said: "There ain't no free rides son,
someone must pay." I live in Asia, and companies here have been copying
everything we have and shipping cheap "knock-offs" all over the world as the
"real thing". Where do you think those designer rip-offs at the swap meet come
from? Right here, partner. Using "Generic Drugs" as a stalking horse, they are
trying to disrupt the Thai/US Free Trade Agreement (FTA) talks, behind a facade
of caring for the aged and the afflicted. It is about counterfeiting and money.
They do not give two damns about suffering people. AIDS patients, NGO'S and
justly concerned Thais are fronting for pirates who make everything from
designer jeans to dangerous bogus miracle cures and cigarettes.
The media, led by our own left-handed stalwarts, are mounting a propaganda
campaign, which would make Joe Stalin blush. They are telling Thais we are
killing them with high prices. The problem is that many people are victims. They
are victims of an unceasing leftist mantra blaming the United States and
President Bush for every ill in the world. How low can they go?
A former Marine and sitting congressman has joined the "Cut and run gang." Some
will say there is no such thing as a "Former Marine." Well, there is now, and I
am sure in future generations of Marines, they will be called "Murthas." What a
despicable black eye to a body of bold and honorable warriors. How low can he
go?
Senator Ted Kennedy has shown how low he can still sink. The "stinko" poster boy
for Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) is again lecturing on "morality." Now
that is a reach even for this bulbous literal "Lady Killer." But, as his
stalwart mate John Kerry might say: Any body count will do. Unless you want to
bring up how many good men died the last time these guys decided to march for
political advantage over even a small sense of honor. We hope John runs again.
We have worked to better prepare for him this time around. Our weapon? TRUTH!
How low can they go?
We have a couple Quasi-Republicans trying to hamstring the troops and fence
straddle themselves into the White House. They will lose. Honor knows no
political party. Barbara Boxer and Nancy "The Red" have become the "Point
men"(Women) for the left. They both feel the troops would smile more if there
were open gays in each foxhole. They seem to be part of a new Liberal strategy
called "Let's put our ugly girls up front." They both love to orate on things
they know nothing about. You know, like war, honor, integrity etc. They will
dive deeper for the scum at the lowest moral point. How low can they go?
We have former members of the "Keating Five" talking about “crooked lobbyists"
and "Campaign Finance Reform". Not since Lyndon Johnson picked his own targets
over North Vietnam have politicians been so full of battlefield advice. They
call hearings and conduct inquisitions of professional military officers and act
as if they are more tactically aware than the generals. "Well, I would have had
a different mix on the troops going in." they say. You are a fat klutz in
congress! You do not get to "mix", you fool. This bull from people who require
some pimply-faced boy named "Francis J. Georgetown" to lean over and feed them
questions? How low can you go?
The best picture on the INTERNET these days is that ugly, wacko "Red Star Mom"
hugging Jesse Jackson's back with the caption "What Stuck On Stupid Looks Like."
How low can you go? Well, --- that's about as far down as it gets.
