Bernie on Tax Hikes

Check out what I'm telling State Senator Damon Thayer. Damon is co-chair of the Local Taxation Task Force in Frankfort and will help us. We must give him all the encouragement and support we can muster.

  Damon:  Check out what the vice-Mayor of Covington says here.  This is the line that you should be touting. Let's cut down the size, cost, reach, and power of government at all levels. Yes, some of the cuts might hurt but it will sure be worth it, and economic prosperity will have a chance to boom.

For what it's worth, Covington did not take a 4% increase this year even though we could have, and I am very proud of it.  I support your push for voter approval 100%.  If Covington can get by without 4% every year, surely everyone else should be able to do the same. -ROB
