Belcher on Iraq

If you want the truth, ask the people fighting there. While visiting the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg, I was told this. --We would be coming home as soon as the job was finished. They said sometime next year. They also said the progress on training the people to rule their own country was better than the news was admitting. These heroes said the news media was not telling the truth. ( Hell, from personal experience, I can say, never have and never will when it comes to war.) The combat infantry men were right as they always have been in the past about questions relating to a war.

P.S - I am a Democrat.
