WeNeedAFence.com President Colin Hanna writes, "The immigration reform
bill just voted out of the House Judiciary Committee and now headed for
a full House vote in the next few days has a hole in it -- a hole about
2,000 miles wide. That's because it does not address the address the
critical need for a secure physical barrier -- a fence -- as an
essential element of serious border security reform."

Illegal Alien Invasion Deadlier Than Iraq

Congress, States Slow to Confront Property Rights Decision
The Heritage Foundation's Ronald D. Utt writes, "Despite the widespread
concern that swept the country following the Kelo decision, state and

of property rights. With the exceptions of the House bill and new laws
in Alabama and Texas, property rights initiatives in other states and in
the U.S. Senate have been bogged down."

3. Ann Coulter: Ronnie Earle Is
Better Suited for a Job in Hollywood
Democrat prosecutor Ronnie Earle's conspiracy charge against Tom
DeLay was thrown out this week, which came as a surprise to people who
think it's normal for a prosecutor to have to empanel six grand juries
in order to get an indictment on simple fund-raising violations. Mr.
Earle will presumably assemble a seventh grand jury as soon as he
locates someone in the county who hasn't served on a previous one.

5. EXCLUSIVE: Robert Novak Says
More Bad News Could Doom Bush
One question is asked around Washington and in political circles
everywhere: Has President George W. Bush hit bottom, or does he still
have a distance to drop? Our answer is that if there is more bad news,

6. Jihad Watch: The Koran: A
New Mein Kampf?
Last week in New York Oriana Fallaci said that "the Koran is the Mein
Kampf of this movement. The Koran demands the annihilation or
subjugation of the other, and wants to substitute totalitarianism for
democracy….You will find that all the evil that the sons of Allah commit
against themselves and against others is in it."

8. From Page 3: Simple Question
on Iraq Dumbfounds Democrats
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) claimed this week she
had not heard the stated position of Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D.-Md.)
that it would be a disaster for U.S. troops to withdraw from Iraq-a
position that sharply contrasts with her own call for U.S. troops to be
removed within six months.

And finally, don't miss this...
Americans of all political stripes can go a long way this Christmas
season to recognize the efforts of U.S. troops at home and abroad. It
starts with two words: "Thank you."
Over the course of this month, you can send a note of thanks to
members of U.S. military via www.ThankASoldierWeek.com. All messages
will be delivered to U.S. soldiers through a coordinated effort with the
Department of Defense.
