Hooray for Larry the VET Slayer!

I attended the Boone County GOP meeting last night.  There was a big crowd on hand because of the election of the new Boone County GOP chairman who turned out to be Steve Smith.  Some of Geoff Davis' staff was there and Mitch McConnell's man was even there to speak.  All the elected officials were on hand with the exception of Commissioner Cathy Flaig who is home recovering from surgery.  Even Secretary of State Trey Grayson was in attendance.  At the end of the meeting I asked to make an announcement.  I told everyone of the hard work and heroism of my friend Larry Brown who devoted 4 years in slaying the V.E.T.  I told everyone of your time and effort in research, building a website, committee testifying in Frankfort, hard work at the 3 county fair booths in accumulating supporters, tons of op-eds written and published, radio, TV, legislative caucus meetings, etc. And how it all culminated with Governor Fletcher signing the emergency order Monday a week ago to end the hated tail-pipe testing.  Larry The V.E.T. Slayer received a tremendous roar of applause and approval.  I doubt not that you heard it at your home. HOORAY FOR LARRY THE V.E.T. SLAYER !!!
