Is America Becoming a Big Israel?

All my life, I have been inundated with images of Israelis being blown to bits on buses and in cafes. I have seen many a picture or video of a typical city street in Israel where there are men walking around with automatic Uzi sub-machine guns "protecting the public". I am a believer in the right to protect oneself with armed resistance, both from bad people and from tyrannical government, so knowing that all Israelis live as armed citizens, the Uzi images didn’t bother me so much, that is, until now.

Recently I saw a special on the mind-control tube that we all have in our homes which subtly and sometimes not so subtly molds our minds. It was about life in New York City after 911 and was being shown as a sidebar to all the news events surrounding the latest Islamic attacks in London, England where once again, Muslim extremists of the "religion of peace" blew many people to bits in the public transit systems. This is just like they have been doing in Israel for decades. We have seen what the practitioners of this alleged religion have done to Israel, are we now seeing it happen to us? I don’t count Spain as "us", but it happened there also.

In this special, there was a good amount of time spent displaying a group of government men in black combat outfits armed with automatic weapons patrolling, military style, the subways in NYC looking for terrorists one presumes. Knowing that terrorists assimilate into our culture because we let them and that they do not advertise their presence, I failed to see how these "men in black" were accomplishing anything other than making the sheeple, who don’t know any better, feel safe.

Most all of the terror attacks against the western world by these Islamic extremists have been suicide attacks and were carried out quietly and clandestinely. The godless men who carried out these attacks did so under the cover of "average Americans" in this alleged "melting pot". Oh, we’re melting all right, but not in the propagandized way that phrase is meant to be used! We are melting away from the "land of the free" and into the "land of the militarized and policed".

Why is all of this happening? Well, that is a much longer discussion, and most readers don’t have enough background into the Insiders of the world who are pulling the strings to understand it, so we will focus on the police state conversion that has happened to America as it relates to the Islamic extremists, or Muslim terrorists, or whatever you want to call these godless fools.

What did our leaders do just after 911 in order to make us safer? Did they repair the intelligence and police organizations that ignored the threats and allowed this to happen? No, they created yet another government monstrosity called "Homeland Security", yet another taxpayer supported police organization. I was against it from the outset, as I am old school and believe you fix the problems you have before creating new organizations with potential problems of their own. I see this as common sense, but most Americans falsely feel safer now that we have this "Homeland Security" department of the government, a new layer to the multitude of law enforcement organizations already so prevalent in our society these days.

I see these Homeland Security Troops traversing the major cities and airports with their automatic weapons and checking ids like the old stormtroopers of Germany, "May ve see your papers pleeze?", and it bothers me. It doesn’t bother me because I think these are bad people. On the contrary, I believe these are good people who think they are doing a good thing for the country. The problem is this. I don’t think it is good to become a society so policed that we cannot move anywhere in public without being watched. That is not what I call freedom or liberty.

In that sense, the terrorist scum have won. They have succeeded in transforming our society from one in which people moved freely without the over-watchful eyes of a big brother government checking their every move, into one that resembles Israel, militarized and policed "for our own good". Next will be the bombed out buses and cafes just like we see in Europe and Israel, mark my words.

In a nation that refuses to truthfully confront its enemy, Islam, in a smart and forward thinking manner, our future is relegated to what is created through our response to the terror that is most surely coming our way. With our borders foolishly left wide open so anyone can enter at whim and even be protected and served by our government once they have entered, we are headed to destruction.

In a nation that refuses to recognize the evil of Islam and bends over backwards to make these people welcome, we are doomed to disaster. One cannot tell the difference between a radical muslim and a non-radical muslim entering our country or already here, so until we eliminate Islam completely from this country, we are in danger, and our people will be killed needlessly. It is not the place for Americans to provide harbor to the religion that has its most extreme followers destroying our way of life. American children have been converted to this religion created by a questionable fellow named Mohammed and they have taken up arms against us in Afghanistan and Iraq. Do we need anything more to wake us up to the evil we are allowing to occur within our own borders? What is wrong with our leaders?

Cal Thomas recently wrote a column stating we should stop radical muslims at our border, but I don’t know how you tell the difference. People liken the rounding up of Muslims and deporting them to the internment of Japanese in WWII and how sad that was. It was sad indeed, but war is a terrible thing and if you don’t engage in war to win, you lose. What the apologizers for the Japanese internment in WWII conveniently leave out of their discussion is the fact that there were no internal attacks from people of Japanese descent during WWII. Isn’t that interesting to ponder? I don’t wish to see nice people, and there are plenty of nice muslims, deported to the 5^th century nations they come from, but does anyone know a better way to insure our safety and the return to a "land of the free" lifestyle of living in America? Are we to allow our nation to melt away just to keep from hurting some people’s feelings? I think not.

Muslims have done nothing to curb or end the violence committed by followers of their religion in the name of their Allah. I don’t buy that it is our place to fix their religion. They should remove themselves from this country and go back to the Islamic nation of their choice. They should then go to war with the extremists who have been working to destroy western civilization, a civilization that they come to in droves, and have recreated in the image of a battered Israel. Why have they been so quiet about the problems inherent in their religion for so long? Worse yet, why do we put up with allowing terrorists in our midst waiting for the call to destroy us at any given moment? Are we stupid or just plain lazy?
