Of course, at the same time Rather and Moore were smearing President Bush, it came to light that Senator Kerry had not released his military records despite numerous questions about his service.

But the liberal media NEVER pushed Senator Kerry to release HIS military records -- even after he promised the American people he would do so.

SO WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL?

Senator Kerry doesn't like to talk much about rubbing shoulders with Hanoi Jane Fonda or organizing anti-war protests as a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

Nor does Senator Kerry like to talk about meetings he attended in Paris with high-ranking members of an enemy delegation.

It should be remembered that Senator Kerry was still an officer in the Naval Reserve when he organized anti-war protests and traveled to Paris to meet with the enemy.

SIX MONTHS LATER... STILL NO RECORDS?

After it was discovered that the full military record was not on his website -- as promised -- Senator Kerry claimed he would resolve the omissions.

Now -- over six months later -- Senator Kerry has still NOT authorized the release of his military records.

Recently, radio personality Don Imus broke ranks and asked Senator Kerry about his promise to release his full military record.

IMUS:  You told Tim (Russert) that you would sign this Form 180 releasing all of your military records.  Have you done that?

KERRY:  Yes, we're going to do that.  Absolutely, I will do that.  Listen I think...

IMUS:  (Interrupting) When are you going to do it?

KERRY:  As soon as I get it clarified with the military.

IMUS:  Why don't you do it today?

KERRY:  Because I have a stack of different materials they've sent me every time they've sent me something, and I want to know exactly what they're sending.  I'll get it done.  But you know what I want?  I think the guys who are making these accusations ought to release their records also, and I've said that.  And I think fair is fair.  Let's all put them out there for everybody to judge.

IMUS: So you will NOT release yours...

KERRY:  No, I'll sign it anyway.  I'll sign it anyway.

IMUS:  Okay... Like by noon today?

KERRY:  Uh... no.

ITS NOT THAT DIFFICULT!

You will notice in the exchange with Imus that Senator Kerry not only tried to waffle by portraying the simple task of signing a piece a paper as something difficult and cumbersome, but he also lamely attempted to shift the focus.

And despite the fact that this interchange occurred over six months after Senator Kerry initially promised to release his military records by signing the DD Form 180, Imus could not get Senator Kerry to actually commit to signing the form.

And this man wanted to be President of the United States?

Now exactly what is contained in these "missing records" is all speculation -- but one important question comes to mind.

Why is Senator Kerry -- amid this speculation -- refusing to clear the air in the quickest way possible by authorizing the release of his full military record?

There have already been all kinds of talk Senator Kerry wants to run for President again, and he's still serving in the U.S. Senate where he's hypocritically attacking people like John Bolton.

Could it be that the missing records would sink Senator Kerry's future presidential aspirations and expose his hypocrisy?

Today, the American public deserves to know what is contained on thirty-one pages of missing documents.
