The Devil's Disciple

How proud I am this very day.

You stood your ground and did not sway.

Stories will be told how brave you were.

For shouts nor curses, you did not deter.

Like Iron Men they held their place.

No one allowed to say their grace.

Listen now and hear my tale.

How a speck of water could land you in jail.

History records some valiant deed.

The call to duty all men did heed.

They faced the onslaught until she cried no more.

The agony, the torment, the tears did pour.

The husband, the attorney and judges too,

All did form a mighty crew.

The rewards they offer will be great.

To be assigned to guard Hell's gate.

Wives and loved ones will welcome you.

They will drink a toast for she is through.

Not one sip did Terri take.

When your time comes, who will guard the gate?
