I can't believe they are giving yet more money to the biggest pig in any local, state, or federal budget, that being public education! Wow! I heard that in Clark County they are having private fundraisers for textbooks. What these simple fools don't realize is that 99% of textbooks have been subverted into tools of the state indoctrination program for collectivist thinking instead of tools of knowledge as they once were decades ago. They would almost be better off with no textbooks, but then we would have to also re-educate the teachers whose minds have been polluted by the "system" for a couple of generations now.

So, where does all the money go anyway? Well let's see.

For starters, teachers are only teaching for about 7 months or less a year when you factor in all the "planning" days, holidays, sick days, snow days, too cold days, and days they call off so they can go to Frankfort and whine about how hard they have it. They can retire in what, twenty or twenty-five years into one of the best retirement systems in the world and then live off the system for what, another 40 years? Wonderful, pay into the system a little while the taxpayers pay into it a lot, for only about 25 years, and then "suckle at the sow" for another 40 years. Wow, where do I sign up?

The administrators are overabundant by far, overpaid, underchallenged, and many times unneeded.

We are feeding kids that their parents don't feed.

We are dealing with discipline problems way beyond the spitballs, and pony tails in the inkwells our teachers and principles had to deal with decades ago. We have politically correct thought and speech police at every turn.

What do our brave legislators do? Give the failing system more money! Yeah, that will solve it! What a load of bunk. According to the elected and non-elected "officials" in Frankfort, we can spend our way into prosperity and problem solving! All the sheeple need is to hear a politician say that he or she wants "better education for all" (read that in a John Fonda Kerry style imitation), and the votes from the sheeple are assured. [The same can be said about all the vague references politicians use with "healthcare", the other sacred cow] Woe be unto a politician who actually tries to do something significant to make the system better, he or she will be accused of taking food out of the mouths of our children and sending them into a life of poverty and homelessness. The liberal media will make sure of that while their ignorant masses eat it up. Give me a break!

No wonder so few people have faith in the system and get involved! Of course, that in itself just adds to the nightmare.
