Check out this editorial from the Courier Journal of today.  With this type of irresponsible borrowing and spending one wonders just how many more taxes we will get hit with the next Session.  And remember, the Party of fiscal restraint is in charge down in Frankfort.  You know, those Republicans that ostensibly stand for lower taxes and less government. -- Bernie

   "Senate President David Williams, who helped buy support for the budget by agreeing to $2.1 billion -- $2.1 billion! -- in borrowing, immediately lashed out at them. He accused them of being "grandstanders" and said he didn't appreciate their votes. Kentucky citizens should.  Senators Denton and Leeper simply told the plain truth in criticizing the budget for borrowing and spending grotesquely more than is responsible."
