LEFTington’s Extortion ContinuesBy Mario, Guerilla Reporter February 3, 2005
Not being one who has time to waste reading the left wing vitriol and mind control emanating from the editorial page of the Heraldo-Liberal, I almost lost my breakfast this morning when I made the mistake of doing that. I read one sentence, that’s right - one sentence of the editorial starring, complete with a picture, none other than vindictive grandstander and obstructionist Jacques Wiggington.
The sentence reads, “Here’s a question for our elected council: Can you justify not negotiating on behalf of the people you represent?” Negotiate for what? Unbelievable! Let me set the Heraldo-Liberal leftists straight and answer this for my Council who should not even waste time with the question. Answer: Yes!
There is nothing to negotiate. To “negotiate” for anything is nothing short of extortion. The water company has nothing wrong with it and has constantly and professionally, even under threat of condemnation, lived up to its obligation to its customers.
Let me ask the left-wing socialists over at the Heraldo-Liberal a question. You are a monopoly. You are allegedly providing a public service, though that could easily be debunked. You make a profit. Your decisions affect the future of LEFTington. We want to purchase you, but you are not for sale, so under threat of eminent domain we work to “condemn” you. A new Council, chosen by the people, has decided to end condemnation seeing that it is business-unfriendly, dividing our community, and basically communistic in its concept. The Mayor and her council allies don’t care about that and continue their assault. The assault would be over but for the last-minute change of heart of one Council member. We decide to negotiate. We want your land on Midland Avenue and Main Street to become an annex to Thoroughbred Park, complete with a bridge walkway over to the new section of the park. We want you to give it to us, no questions asked, and we want you to pay to build the bridge by our design.
It even turns out that four female council members, over tea and crumpets, worked to form an organization to attack you called FLOP (For Local Ownership of Propaganda), and an appraiser who is a fraud and "newspaper hit man" undervalued your company to convince the Council that LEFTington could afford stealing your company.
Now, can my Council Representatives “justify” not negotiating, allegedly on behalf of the people they represent? And your answer is…
