TELL SINCLAIR NOT TO BACK DOWN TO DNC THREATS

As you may have heard, Sinclair Broadcasting is planning to air a documentary about John Kerry’s anti-war activities on its 62 affiliate stations.  The Democrats are throwing a conniption over the decision to broadcast “Stolen Honor,” going so far as to file an FEC complaint to stop it.

In addition, Kerry’s spokesman, Chad Clanton, issued a not-so-veiled threat against the company, telling Fox News, “Listen, they better look out there at Sinclair Broadcasting” and “I think they’re going to regret doing this, and they better hope we don’t win.”

These people are absolutely PETRIFIED that this show, which features former POWs talking about how Kerry’s 1971 anti-war congressional testimony affected them, might make it onto the public airways.

The DNC sent out an Action Alert yesterday urging Democrat supporters to call the Sinclair affiliates and pressure them to refuse to air the documentary.  “Sinclair is using its reach to broadcast a blatantly political -- and false -- message while disguising it as ‘news,’” the panicked email says.  “Call Sinclair's affiliates...to let them know what you think about their decision to air untrue smears about John Kerry just before Election Day.”

Well, if they’re “untrue” and “smears,” then Kerry should participate in the panel discussion after the show and rebut the claims of these 13 POWs.  The POWs have certainly EARNED the right to have their  side of the story told...and Sinclair has offered Kerry the opportunity to come on the air and call them liars to their faces if he so chooses.

Now THAT would be “must see” TV!

BRUSHFIRE ALERT:  Well, you know the kind of pressure the Democrats are going to put on the Sinclair affiliates, so you might want to contact them yourself and urge them NOT TO CAVE IN to the Democrats’ censorship attempts and urge them to broadcast the documentary.  You can get all their contact information by going to:

By the way, you don’t have to wait to see this 42-minute documentary...especially if you don’t live in a city which has a Sinclair affiliate.  For $4.99 you can watch it via pay-per-view right on your computer.  Just go to:  http://www.stolenhonor.com/
