Forced property buy-out in Northern KY – Seven Property Owners Still Holding Out

I find the following article to be extremely disturbing.  I guess property rights are now meaningless in Kentucky.  I didn't realize that under state law, "blighted" neighborhoods could be subject to Forced Buy-Outs, even if it's just for the benefit of a private party.  Perhaps there is some truth, after all, to the rumors about Mayor Clayton Stoess wanting to force poor people from their homes in Pewee Valley.
