Linda Gottbrath on Larry Clark and Marriage Amendment
To Whom It May Concern:
Two years ago I ran against Larry Clark. At that time I went door to door showing proof that Larry Clark voted in the committee that marriage IS NOT between a man and a woman. He also voted against pro-life legislation in the committee. Keeping these bills off the floor, however, is not the best interest of the people of District 46. Should the legislation come to the floor, he will vote in favor of pro-life and of traditional sacred marriages. He knows the voting for these bills will be made public so he keeps them from coming to the floor. The truth does leak out and people, like myself, find out what went on in these committees. Does this sound like someone who believes in pro-life legislation or that marriage is sacred? Does this sound like someone who is honest and forthright?
Regarding the last report from Larry Clark, he states that he is interested in stopping the adult businesses. If he is so interested in stopping the adult businesses, why does Preston Hwy. and Poplar Level Road look the way they do. He wants to use tobacco taxes for Medicaid. Tobacco crops are no longer the money maker they once were. True the taxes on cigarettes are low but there are increasing numbers to show that people are not purchasing cigarrettes like they did years ago. Our legislators can't even agree on a budget much less what to do with Medicaid.
I urge people to vote for Trace Chesser. He has integrity, high morals, and the ability to help Kentucky preserve values for our children and our grandchildren. I believe that Trace Chesser will work very hard for District 46. I believe that he will look into the budget issue and the Medicaid issue. He will not leave the State of Kentucky hanging. A vote for new blood is a vote for Trace Chesser.
God Bless You, Linda Gottbrath
