Letter from John Riley to Michael Badnarak re gay marriage

No campaign can expect to go anywhere by taking a position against over 70% of the people.  I'm truly sorry your campaign has.  Unfortunately this position is not just a reflection on your campaign but on the entire LP which you are working so hard to build.

I suspect that even among your party members that your position on this issue is very hard to ignore and is very disappointing to many.

While your intentions may have been good the results may be devastating and very difficult to overcome. 

Maybe at some point in the the future people can be swayed to believe that abnormal is normal, but that is fortunately not something that will happen in the near future.
