Subject: FW: Faith Under Fire TV show

Just wanted to pass along this new TV show on PAX this fall. Starting
10/02/2004 at 10pm. Channel 21 on Insight cable. It's called Faith Under Fire and looks promising. Lee Strobel (Author of "Case for Christ") is the host, which should make this show interesting. Below is part of the description of this show taken from www.paxtv.com.

Faith Under Fire is a bold and edgy hour-long series debuting this fall on PAX TV. This talk/debate show is a forum for all points of view -- a provocative program that takes an unflinching look at the most controversial issues involving religion, spirituality and morality.

Hosted by former Chicago Tribune legal expert and renowned author Lee Strobel, Faith Under Fire puts faith issues to the test in a fast-paced and entertaining face-off format. Whether it's a discussion involving Islam, atheism, Buddhism, Christianity, humanism, or Wicca, Faith Under Fire draws guests and fire from the worlds of current events, pop culture, academia, and the arts and sciences.

Faith Topics: Do faith and politics mix? Are there hidden codes in the Bible? When is it moral to wage war? Can we really talk to dead people?
Is there only one way to God? Does science rule out a Creator? Can reincarnation be proven? What causes religious barbarism? Is God a Republican or Democrat? Why does God allow evil? Does religion subjugate women? "No topic is off-limits," says Strobel. "People feel strongly about these issues, and Faith Under Fire will put various belief systems to the test. People can believe whatever they want, but can they defend it? We're going to find out."
