Smoking WILL Be Banned In Your Bar…

Unless You Organize NOW And FIGHT !

 The Anti-smoking Crusade that swept California in the 90’s and is now taking over Northeastern states and cities will be moving to Rhode Island soon.  The movement CAN be stopped if Rhode Island’s bar and restaurant owners learn to stand together in a united front, and declare that they simply will NOT tolerate total smoking bans. 

Do not believe the anti-smokers when they tell you smoking bans will be good for businesses. It’s a simple bold-faced lie.  Since smokers can not smoke with bans, they avoid going to the businesses in the first place. When businesses lose smoking patrons, the businesses also lose their money at the same time.  A business can’t make money without bringing in customers, right?  When the businesses lose customers and money, the REAL terrible effect of bans happens; a lot of businesses are forced to file for bankruptcy after losing a lot of money.  It’s also sad to hear about the workers of these same places losing their jobs only because of the terrible bans forcing them to look for new work. 

A smoker may be allowed to light up outside, but who really wants to go out and suffer in the cold and/or snow every 20 minutes just to smoke ONE cigarette? Yes, businesses AND the customers themselves both suffer with bans.  Either the customer has to suffer in the cold in order to do something legal, or the customer can just stay at home and smoke there instead.

Do NOT wait to “see what happens.” Otherwise, it WILL be too late.  Then, your business WILL be the victim.  There WILL be NO exceptions or loopholes in the end.
