Kerry was here today in
Los Angeles, he was courting the Spanish vote by speaking Spanish. And he
showed people he could be boring in two languages.
NBC's movie "10.5got
huge ratings, despite scathing reviews. Apparently Americans were so eager to
see California fall into the ocean, they were willing to overlook bad acting
and a stupid story.
I'm sure you heard by
now, John Kerry fell off his bicycle over the weekend. He went for a Sunday
afternoon ride and fell off in front of the news media. Luckily his hair broke
the fall.
Luckily Kerry was not
seriously injured. In fact, Kerry when the police arrived, Kerry was well
enough to give conflicting reports to an officer about what happened.
Are we working now? I
want to apologize to the people in the studio audience. We started late
tonight because of a power blackout. The power went out three times, we couldn'
even get the show started. Apparently what happened was, as you know Governor
Schwarzenegger is in Israel now and what he did was left former Governor Gray
Davis in charge.
Teresa Heinz, the wife
of Senator John Kerry, is on the cover of "Newsweek" magazine this week. In
fact John Kerry said he first noticed her when she was on the cover of another
magazine, "Fortune".
