The Destruction of American Education
by Alan Caruba  Summary: Year after year, children pass through it from kindergarten to twelfth grade, too frequently emerging into the world functionally illiterate and with their little heads crammed full of leftist and environmental nonsense of no value to anyone but the puppet masters who have crafted programs designed to make them docile, easily manipulated little "citizens of the world."

Painfully unaware - Dr. Anand took the stand in the morning and testified for hours that unborn children can feel pain even more vividly than adults or even infants. He said that by 20 weeks fetuses have developed all the nerve and brain functions to feel pain, but none of the coping mechanisms that help infants and adults to deal with the sensation. http://worldmag.com/world/issue/04-24-04/national_1.asp

Free Trade Area of the Americas –  a huge power grab-- In the globalist lexicon, liberalization, harmonization, integration, and cooperation mean socialization, internationalization, expansion, centralization, and concentration of the powers of government….When negotiators for the European Community or the North American Free Trade Agreement use the term "harmonization," they are referring to the effort to impose uniform wages and regulations across national borders. With respect to human rights, "harmonization" refers to the subordination of national constitutions to UN human rights conventions and covenants.  http://www.stoptheftaa.org/ftaa/

Before you donate to support a college – Walter Williams At the University of Louisville, Ky., a “White Privilege Forum” was held to talk about how “white persons run and/or own nearly half of the United States. ... ” A tape that I received showed a panel of three white students and two white professors and a black professor as moderator. The white students appeared to feel shame for their so-called “privilege,” which probably wasn’t anything more than hard work and sacrifice by their parents. What might have motivated the forum was an earlier incident where two students, in exchange for applying for a credit card, were offered T-shirts with a caricature of a black couple titled “10 Reasons Why a Beer is Better than a Black Man.” Bank One apologized with a $50,000 donation to the University of Louisville’s diversity lecture series. To promote better racial understanding, its first speaker was Sister Souljah. http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=3626

Tax injustice day – altruism vs. Americanism - The opponents of tax cuts do not want justice. They want redistribution of wealth. They want to confiscate the income earned by the wealthy and give it to people who have not earned it. http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=2692

Diverting the Blame for September 11th by Onkar Ghate, Ph.D. Whatever errors or incompetence on the part of a particular individual or intelligence agency, what made September 11 possible was a failure of policy. Our government, whether controlled by Democrat or Republican, had for decades conducted an accommodating, range-of-the-moment, unprincipled foreign policy.
