Re: Jefferson Review article on service tax My understanding that the 6% tax on services would work as follows: You would bill your client $100. Your bill would tack on another 6%, or $6. Your client will remit $106. You do not pay the 6%, your client pays the 6%. You act as the tax collector for the state, by forwarding the $6 to Frankfort. I am not advocating the above, but I would appreciate your clarification.
