> * When the liberals in the Senate decided to begin their unofficial filibuster in February against President Bush's conservative nominee to the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, Miguel Estrada, we first told you how a filibuster can only be broken by invoking "cloture", which requires the vote of at least 60 Senators who agree to end debate and force a vote. We set up a site where you could send "blast faxes" to ALL TWENTY of the Democrats who were most likely to be persuaded to vote with the Republicans to end the filibuster against Miguel Estrada -- and our members sent them 24,460 faxes and 51,490 e-mails! We convinced 4 Democrats to vote for cloture... but as you know, Daschle and his cronies were able to browbeat the remaining Dems into supporting the filibuster, against the will of the people. BUT, we understand there's a new plan being worked out in the Senate even as we write, that our members will be the first to know about... so that we can rise up and see to it that JUSTICE is done in the Senate this coming year! Stay tuned!

> * Just last week, we told you the disheartening news that General Electric, in response to complaints from a so-called Muslim "civil rights" organization, had decided to pull its lighting advertisements from the beloved Paul Harvey's syndicated radio show. We exposed this group, called CAIR, as radicals that have been shown to give aid to international terrorist groups. We set up our site to enable our members to contact GE directly and demand they ignore these radical Muslims and resume their advertising on the show... and 20,832 of you sent GE e-mails in support of Paul Harvey! Well, guess what... GE just announced they were resuming their ads on his show! WAY TO GO!

> * In April, we told you about a House amendment to keep France, Germany, and other "axis of weasels" countries from receiving taxpayer dollars to help with the rebuilding of Iraq. We asked you to send all of your Congressmen a personal message, urging them to support an amendment to prevent those who opposed us most vigorously in the war to liberate Iraq from getting taxpayer dollars -- and our members sent 57,563 messages to Capitol Hill! You've seen the results recently of your activism: the "coalition of the UNwilling" is being cut OUT of the post-war pie! You did it!

> * Not long after we told you how a gung-ho anti-gun district attorney in Brooklyn was prosecuting Ronald Dixon for using an "illegal firearm" to shoot an intruder in his home (when the gun he had purchased legally in Florida simply had not run all the way through New York's cumbersome registration process), we let you know about a bill introduced in Congress, the "Citizens' Self-Defense Act of 2003", to counter these mis-directed prosecutions and blatant violations of American citizens' Second Amendment rights. We asked you to contact your Congressmen and tell them to support this bill... and 44,663 messages were sent to your Senators and Representatives doing just that! The bill is now due to move out of committee at the beginning of 2004 -- and we'll let you know what to do about that, won't we? :-)

> * When we reported to you on a looming deal between the United States and the government of Mexico which would make hundreds of thousands of Mexican citizens eligible for U.S. Social Security benefits -- what Rep. Ron Paul calls "The Great Global Social Security Giveaway" -- many of you were outraged that Congress continues to demonstrate an inability to control spending that threatens the Social Security trust fund. So, 37,757 of you sent messages to your Representatives, demanding they support Rep. Paul's bill to STOP this giveaway!

> * We also let you know about the slur against all conservatives that a high-ranking official from DaimlerChrysler spewed forth, while at the same time espousing support for -- of all people -- shakedown artist Jesse Jackson. We dug deep and found this official's personal e-mail address, and set up an easy way for you to send him a message demanding an apology for his insult... and 9,223 send him a friendly little e-mail of outrage. Well, surprise, surprise -- shortly thereafter, he issued a hand-written letter of apology for his remarks! Let it be known that we're fed up with the attitude that people can insult conservatives and get away with it!

> * We learned in September that the organization American Atheists (founded by the late Madalyn Murray O'Hair) was protesting a proposal to use a large steel cross found in the rubble of the World Trade Center in a memorial to victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. We set up a petition where anyone could ask the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, the agency overseeing the rebuilding of the area, to include the "Ground Zero Cross" at any memorial erected. OVER 100,000 PEOPLE signed that petition! Final decisions are being made now regarding the cross -- we'll keep you informed of the results.

> * In March, one of the most EXCITING projects we've undertaken in a long time was launched: RightMarch.com, the "Virtual March from the Right". This site is designed to counter all of the highly-publicized activism of radical left-wing groups such as MoveOn.org and their ilk. We've partnered at this site with many other conservative groups online, and in doing so we've extended our reach to OVER TWO MILLION conservatives via e-mail!

>    Our first project was something we'd never done before: we took out a FULL PAGE AD in USA Today, giving a strong statement of support for President Bush and our troops, and listing THOUSANDS of Americans' names and hometowns. This was in response to the media "blackout" of the quickly-organized series of "Rallies for America," held across the country from Washington D.C. to California. Tens of thousands of Americans came out to support our President and our troops, despite having little time to prepare to attend. While the media made sure to report on the Socialist-led "peace" marches, they failed miserably in their duty to cover the patriotic rallies... so we reported on it FOR them in our nationwide FULL-PAGE ad, and drove thousands more to stand up on behalf of our nation and our leaders against the "blame-America" crowd, thanks to YOU.

>    Our next project with RightMarch.com was to enable our members to send messages to the leaders of the Screen Actors' Guild, the one organization that represents all of those left-wing loons, demanding that they put a leash on the people they are putting on our television sets and movie screens: 14,285 friendly little messages were dropped on Hollywood!

>    Another activity in our "Virtual March from the Right" was to enable our activists to BOMBARD the liberal media with our messages demanding they cover the ongoing wave of "Rallies For America." And when we say BOMBARD, we mean it: 80,716 messages were sent to our members' local media outlets, demanding that they fulfill their journalistic obligations by actually covering these rallies. If you saw ANY coverage of these rallies, pat yourself on the back -- because it's doubtful there would have been anything about it in the press without you!

>    Next, through RightMarch.com, we built on our first successful nationwide full-page ad by taking out another one -- this time, in reaction to the attacks by MoveOn.org on our heroic Secretary of State, Donald Rumsfeld. MoveOn had taken out a full-page ad in the NY Times, calling Sec. Rumsfeld a TRAITOR -- and we just couldn't sit by and let them get away with it! With YOUR help, we took out our OWN ad in USA Today, letting all of America know that the REAL traitors are the ones giving "aid and comfort" to America's enemies by taking out full-page ads in nationally-distributed newspapers attacking our leaders and heroes... and ultimately, our troops in the field. Thousands of you donated towards publishing this ad -- and you were successful!

>    The next action we did with RightMarch.com was in response to MoveOn.org's "house parties", where they got 2,500 loony liberals across the nation to purchase and view their pseudo-"documentary" about the Iraq War -- really, just a blatant attack on President Bush. So, we worked with our friends at ProtestWarrior.com and had over 3,000 conservatives across America download their video, "Eagle Strike", at our own "Patriotic Video Parties" on the same day as MoveOn's parties. It took MoveOn.org two weeks and millions of dollars to get 2,500 people to host a house party for their documentary. It took RightMarch.com two days and some spare change to get over 3,000 people to host patriotic parties featuring our documentary. I think it's easy to see who speaks for mainstream America!

>    The latest action we did with RightMarch.com was to counter MoveOn.org's online "Fox Watch" website that they set up to "monitor Fox News daily and hold it accountable for specific instances of manipulations or distortions of truth and partisan bias." Of course, the reason Fox News has become so popular is BECAUSE they aren't as biased as the other network news. EVERYONE knows that... well, everyone except the loony liberals at MoveOn.org. So, we countered them by linking you up to some friends of ours that ARE exposing bias in the media: specifically, the extreme bias of Dan Rather at CBS News. > A few last items: Sometimes we get email from members who tell us that when they go to our site to take action on an item, the page either doesn't come up, or it's very slow, or it never completely sends their message. The problem there is that there are now SO MANY of us ready and willing to take action that our servers can sometimes get a little overloaded -- so it's a GOOD problem, but one we're constantly trying to avoid. In the meantime, if this happens to you, just wait an hour or two, then try again -- you'll almost always be able to get in then.

> And, if you ever get an e-mail back from your Congressman or Senators saying they've changed their e-mail address, please forward that to us, so we can re-program that legislator's contact form.

> Also, some of you are having trouble getting the "Remember Me" feature to work in our Contact Center. It DOES work, though! If you're having a problem, you might try changing your cookie settings. There are different cookies and different levels of security that can be setup for cookies, it's not just an on or off preference. One thing you could do that might fix the problem you are having would be to add capwiz.com (our Contact Center technical service provider) to the list of trusted domains, so that your computer accepts cookies from their server and saves them.
