This article (Ballot Box Bullies http://www.jeffersonreview.com/articles/2003/082503/ballot.htm0 )is beautiful !  The pious do-gooders who think they are saving us from ourselves have a whole lot more to do than   just  cleaning the air in our local restaurants!

I wonder when they will  begin weighing everyone who enters a restaurant and sends the not so " nutritionally  correct" out the door, or  allow only a limited portion on specific foods to be served to him or her?    When willl be begin our " required" daily workouts?   Who will  check to see if we wear sunscreen outdoors between 11 and 3pm each day?   What about making sure we don't play music too loud, so   future generations won't  need hearing aids or  be half deaf like I am !

The possibilities are endless !!

The "bright" side for me........... My degrees in health education  and wellness  PLUS  nutrition and dietetics should  land me a  FAT  job  with the HEALTH POLICE in my old age if I ever need it !! :)

Do you mind if I send a copy of your article to the Health Department, and others who are on the band wagon to "protect us" from the ravages of second hand smoke?
