What is politically defined
as economic "planning" is the forcible superseding of other people's
plans by government officials. Let My Children Go! – E. Ray Moore’s Exodus Mandate By Theresa Fritz Camoriano The most exciting project I saw at the Freedom 21 Conference was Rev. Moore’s Exodus Mandate project, in which he is encouraging Christians to remove their children from “Pharaoh’s schools”. E. Ray Moore, Jr. has been a pastor, a Director of a Christian ministry, and a U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain (Lt. Colonel). He is a veteran of the Gulf War. He and his wife were the first home schooling family in Indiana in 1977, and they successfully home schooled all their children. Moore says Christians should recognize that they have lost the culture war when it comes to government schools, and they should not attempt to take control of Pharaoh’s schools, which will always be dominated by the government. More than half of the American People are considered obese, by objective standards, such as weight, and Body Mass Index, with an alarming number of children falling into this category. Many Americans smoke, regardless of the proven health hazards associated with this activity. Modern Man’s most prevalent health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes , strokes, cancer, and just about everything that AILS us is a result of what we put in our mouth, and how much we move around !! It should be the highest ambition of every American to extend his views beyond himself, and to bear in mind that his conduct will not only affect himself, his country, and his immediate posterity; but that its influence may be co-extensive with the world, and stamp political happiness or misery on ages yet unborn." Silver] would suggest that folks in government are free to impose regulatory legislation upon privately owned property, restricting a use of that property, based upon a mere belief. By Woody Oakes On my latest Bellsouth telephone bill, I was charged for attempting to, but not obtaining, the last caller’s telephone number using Bellsouth’s Star 69 services. I have never been charged before when their computer could not obtain the number for me. I learned the Kentucky Public Service Commission (KPSC) allows Bellsouth to charge for Star 69 services, even when they do NOT deliver the number. This charge is comparable to a person going up to a hotdog stand, asking for a hotdog, being told they do NOT have hotdogs and then being charged 90 cents for asking. “There is really nothing that can be done except by an individual. Only individuals can learn. Only individuals can think creatively. Only individuals can cooperate. Only individuals can combat statism.” -- Leonard E. Read "By 1940 the literacy figure for all states stood at 96 percent for whites. Eighty percent for blacks. Notice for all the disadvantages blacks labored under, four of five were still literate. Six decades later, at the end of the 20th century, the National Adult Literacy Survey and the National Assessment of Educational Progress say 40 percent of blacks and 17 percent of whites can't read at all. Put another way, black illiteracy doubled, white illiteracy quadrupled, despite the fact that we spend three or four times as much real money on schooling as we did 60 years ago." --Vin Suprynowicz
“No matter how disastrously some policy has turned out, anyone who
criticizes it can expect to hear: "But what would you replace it with?"
When you put out a fire, what do you replace it with?”
