I was somewhat confused by your article about  Lindy's.  I think this is a
big deal, and I want to make sure I understand what is going on.

Is the restaurant really closed? When? Do you know how long it lasted?

With regard to the terms of the agreement, I thought  the deal was, that if
they stayed  OPEN  5 years, then they did not have to pay the city back the
hundred thousand, and the loan was thus "forgiven".   Basically, for each
year they were open, they  got $20,000, from the taxpayers. if they are
closed in 1 year, they should owe the city and they taxpayers  eighty to
onehundred thousand  repayment.

your article  said  the reverse. They( Lindy's) were  let off the hook for
the money, since they went  out of business in less than 5 years.

Which is correct?  Maybe I misunderstood.
