Dan Johnson’s response to Terry Gray’s article:

Hind sight is 20-20.  People can pick at decisions made and criticize the hell out of them a year or two later. Mr. Grey who got maybe 10 votes a precinct criticizes me for the failing of Lindy's restaurant.  I wish they were not the ones who bid and won but that is hind sight. I intend to make lemonade out of this lemon by perhaps getting 2 more restaurants with the 80000 that Lindys owes the city.  Their failure was not free. It was a forgivable loan 20% a year only if they stayed there. They owe the money to the city now and through the sale of the equipment and themselves they will have to pay the money back. The city has a lein on the equipment in the restaurant.  Mr. Grey is ill informed.
