This is the response Terry Gray sent to The C-J.  The C-J refused to print this response.

          The Courier-Journal has endorsed Dan Johnson in the 21^st District Council Race.   Our city, particularly the 21^st district, includes many minorities, and Johnson has not treated them well.  The following is a quote from Guillermo Camoriano, a Louisville resident originally from Honduras:

“...I’ve had dealings with Mr. Johnson and have experienced first hand his biased opinions against our Latin American culture.  When I criticized Mr. Johnson for wasting $100,000 of taxpayer money to subsidize a private restaurant, he told me that I should go back where I came from.  I was appalled that our government representative would have such a disregard for my views and opinions. 

Mr. Johnson justified the expenditure of $100,000 of taxpayer money on a privately-owned restaurant by saying, ‘It was perfectly correct to subsidize an American restaurant in this area since all they had were crummy Hispanic places.’ …”

If you want a representative who will treat all the people with respect, vote for me, Terry Gray, Libertarian, 21^st District Candidate
