TAKE THE TEARS TO HOLLYWOOD

By Terry Gray

Another politician crying for forgiveness.  It seems that self-proclaimed God Patton got caught with his pants down and wants forgiveness.  Moron.  For all you die-hard Democrats (Republicans are no different) out there I wish to tell you something that you should already know.  Patton knew that he was doing wrong and did it anyway.  His affair broke the sanctity of his marriage.  His affair was a sin in the eyes of God.  The deed alone could have been forgiven privately between his family and him and his God and him.  It was a private act in his private life.  It does however sketch the morals of his overall life.

Then he lied.  A deed against his family, the people of his state, and his God.  Another sin, finishing the first draft of the sketch of the morals of his overall life.

Then he ruined the business and subsequently the life of his sexual partner, using his power of office.  Folks, that stroke of artistic work added all the colors to the sketch of the morals of his overall life.  It is hanging in the Patton museum for all to see.

How long are we going to put up with the politicians and their “morals be damned” attitudes?  These people truly believe that they are above it all in their political might.

In Patton’s announcement he said that he hadn’t slept Wednesday night, knowing that he had to confess his deed.  I have a feeling that he hadn’t slept Wednesday night because Judy was beating him upside the head all night.  When she was done and left he was faced with going through his bank account and realizing that Judy was getting half. Then he was going to be impeached and Pikeville would no longer honor their beloved son.

When Tina, his ex-lover and ex-friend is done with the State of Kentucky, the bill is going to be astronomical.  Patton did none of us any favors by being in office and frankly I think his mother should have been slapped when he was born.

Patton has admitted to lying to us.  Are you going to stick by his side when even his wife, who should know him better than anyone, has told him to stick it?  Do we now get to hear, “The poor man is sorry for what he did and I forgive him?”  He’s sorry he got caught and nothing more.  Are we going to hear, “It is not our place to judge?”  First of all, thinking that a scumbag is a scumbag is not judging.  It is fact.  Secondly, we all judge.  We all make judgments every day when strangers approach us, when someone hurts us, when things happen around us.  When you say, “I think he is a bad man,” you have made a judgment.  So let’s lose the holier than thou attitude and call a spade a spade.

Now is the time when you can see Patton for what he really is and feel relief that he is exposed.  You can voice your opinion strongly and openly and feel safe from retribution. He can’t hurt you now; you’re safe.  But let us not leave out the party that has embraced him, endorsed him, and stuck up for him.  What kind of people would put their names and reputations on the line for a man like that?  Makes one wonder doesn’t it?  Look at the sexual/political scandals of other politicians and tell me that these people have your well being in mind.  They don’t care about you, why should you care about them?

Solidly ingrain this little fiasco in your minds when you are standing in line to vote.  Look at the past sexual/political records of all politicians and reflect for a moment before you push that button.  The deeds of these politicians are mere manifestations of their moral principals.  Take that to the polls.
