Most important issue.......
Excellence, efficiency and cost control in legitimate government
services such as police , fire, EMS, roads and their maintenance.
Arena.....
Metro Govt should have a tax deductible fund for people to contribute
voluntarily for the arena and downtown development.
Taxpayers should not be forced to fund projects they will not use , don't
want, and don't believe in.
Every small tax adds up and working people should use their money to take
care of their families and their own needs.
3) Bridges,
We need two bridges........ The east end at one end of the Gene Snyder, and
the other in southwest Jefferson County near Riverport to connect the loop
around the city. People who want to bypass Louisville should be given
that opportunity, For the safety of our citizens.
Fairness:
My definition of Fairness is Freedom of Association. The fairness
ordinance hurts the very people it was intended to help and causes anger
and resentment. Government forced " fairness" also hurts business, and
economic growth because fear of lawsuits prevents business from coming to
Louisville, which hurts us all!! Voluntary association and employment
and promotion based on MERIT is a WIN- WIN situation for everyone!!
Downtown development:
Downtown is ONE part of our community, but should not receive special
treatment or priority. Tax dollars should not Subsidize Downtown. Let
Downtown Develop itself naturally and with private money !! Individuals
should keep the money they earn for the benefit of themseves and their
families, with the exception of Legitimate government services that protect
life , liberty and property.
Arts:
Private money only. Arts are not a legitimate function of Government.
Also, If government continues to support non governmet causes............
How can government do GOVERNMENT functiones WELL??
