Is It Better To Be Thought A Fool??

(The scandal of our education program)
By:  Theresa Harmon for The Federal Observer

Every time I turn on the television lately (which I try to rarely do) and anyone is talking about education, all I keep hearing is how the new “No Child Left Behind” program is going to return control of the publicly funded schools to the local level.  The question we should all demand a clear answer to is, “Why was control ever moved away from the local level to begin with?”  Up until 1965, the United States had the best educational system on the planet.  A system that allowed us to put a man on the moon, to explore outer space, to make huge advances in medicine and to build great bridges.  Who suddenly decided that the local school systems weren’t doing a good job of educating our young and why?  The answer is fairly simple if you know where to look; the power-elite, the New World Order crowd, those who stand to profit from a planned economy and those who believe our allegiance should be to the state and not to Almighty God.

Do you remember when we had morning prayers in public schools?  Chances are that unless you are over 35 years old, you don’t.  Removing prayer due to some non-existent first amendment clause was done so that the secular humanists could more effectively take control of our children, their values and morals.   Do you remember leaving the first grade knowing how to read even though there was no compulsory kindergarten?  Do you remember studying the different forms of government and why they were either good or bad and whether they provided freedom for the individual or not?  I do.  Of course, I graduated school during the 1970s and was mainly blessed with having teachers who had already been in their profession for 20 or more years.  Things have certainly changed and none of this change was accomplished overnight.  The Carnegie Foundation set the “education” agenda back in 1934 in order to bring about a planned economy, one where the worker bees toil for the benefit of others yet still believe they are free.  This is why the U. S. Constitution and Bill of Rights along with the Revolutionary War period are only glossed over in public school rooms now.  To have a citizenry truly understand why our government was set up as it was and why it was given only limited powers would be to sow dissent among the future ‘Workers’.  Remember, corporations don’t want truly educated, free-thinking individuals.  That’s why so much emphasis is now being placed on team and group activities as opposed to individual excellence.  Individuals who have been taught and expected to excel aren’t content to be part of mediocre groups of worker-drones working for the benefit of some greater or common good.  They expect to do their best and to be awarded accordingly.

Even those that have come to realize that all of the foregoing is true fail to fully comprehend just how deeply rooted the crisis really is.  Many want to blame (Democrat) Bill Clinton for getting the ball rolling with his “Goals 2000” and “School to Work” plans, yet, (Republican) George Bush, Sr. is the one who gave us the “America 2000” plan and couldn’t get it through Congress.   Go back further still and you’ll find (Democrat) Lyndon Johnson signing “The Elementary and Secondary Education Act” into law and you’ll see that (Democrat) Jimmy Carter set up the Federal Department of Education at the request of the National Education Association (N.E.A.) in return for large campaign contributions.  Move a bit closer to present day and we see that even though (Republican) Ronald Reagan promised during him own Presidential campaign to abolish the Federal Department of Education that he never quite got around to doing it.  Now (Republican) George Bush, Jr. had the Republican plank vowing to eradicate the Federal Department of Education removed and has now given us the “No Child Left Behind Act” in collusion with the likes of (Democrat) Teddy Kennedy.  This should give us all pause for reflection.  Most everything that power-elite Teddy Kennedy stands for, we should be standing against just on general principle.  Remember, this is one of the Congress-critters (sorry, couldn’t resist) who constantly endeavors to give us socialized, cradle-to-grave, state-run medicine along with our socialized, cradle-to-grave, state-run indoctrination.  I just want everyone to wake up and realize that the Republicans and the Democrats are two sides to the same controlling coin and both are in bed with the One World Government group that seeks to rob us of our National Sovereignty and Values to more effectively redistribute our wealth into their own pockets and the pockets of their cohorts.

We’ve talked now about how this plan to re-structure America got its start and we’ve seen how both major political parties are following the initial plans set out by Carnegie, Rockefeller, John Dewey (the father of ‘modern’ American education), et al and now we need a quick look at just how high all this “local” control really goes….

How much of your local school’s funding and policy is set at the state level?  Conservative estimates put the funding at somewhere around 8% to 20%, depending on the individual state with over 80% of policy being handed down from the state level including curriculum and textbook choices.  Now then, where do the state departments of education get their funding and policy?  That’s right!! Now you’re catching on….they get the lion’s share of their budgets from the federal government after signing all the “requested” contracts and making all the “requested” promises to enact this policy or institute that curriculum change.  Of course, the federal government gets its money directly from us, the taxpayer (via the Internal Revenue Service), making certain that we get the privilege of ensuring our own demise as a free Nation.

This subversion of our liberty goes even higher than our federal government, however.  It goes all the way to the United Nations and its U.N.E.S.C.O. (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) and W.H.O. (World Health Organization) tributaries (all three of which we are funded mainly with our hard-earned tax dollars).   How else can we explain why these same direct-instruction (remember Pavlov and his dogs?), values neutral, morally deficient, courses are also being taught in Australia, Hong Kong, Russia, Canada and Great Britain?  Can you say “Global Governance”?

Let’s also take a minute to reflect on what they teach about firearms now in the public schools both here and abroad and we’ll look at the why shortly.  ALL guns are bad except those in the hands of the military and the police they are telling our children.  In fact, all of the aforementioned countries have already either banned private ownership of guns outright or have placed such tight controls and high licensing fees on their ownership that only those in power can afford to own them.  Do you see another pattern here?  Our Second Amendment was put in place to guarantee the remaining articles in the Bill of Rights.  It isn’t some coincidence that “arms” are the ONLY mention made in the Bill Of Rights of an inanimate object.  Do you remember why Japan wanted to strike a “crushing first blow” to the United States at the beginning of WWII in hopes that we would surrender?  It was because they realized that to invade a Country where the vast majority of its citizens were armed would be suicide.  Before the American public can be effectively controlled and enslaved from a government either within our borders or off our shores, either the will or the means to resist must be removed.  Time and time again it has been proven that our friends and neighbors just MIGHT get upset if the government tried to come into their homes and confiscate their firearms en mass so there goes removing the “means”.  What is being done in place of an outright ban?  Teaching our children in public schools that guns are bad and that guns (not evil people –- remember your moral relativism) kill people is what.   They also ask in “group” exercises and “counseling sessions” whether any firearms are present in the student’s homes.  Will someone please tell me what database this information is eventually being fed into, why and who controls and has access to it?  If you answered “government’s”, “for tracking” and “government, military and police” all leading up to eventual confiscation, you’d be pretty close to the (dare I say it?)… Bullseye.

I’m not much of a believer in coincidence.  I can’t believe all these different countries have suddenly (no matter their form of government) thought up the same curriculum plans and moral relativism at the same time without it all being connected.  The connection, I fear, is the United Nations and their hosts of un-elected NGOs (non-governmental agencies) and bureaucracies.  Furthermore, I feel the need to share my fears in the hope that someone can tell me I’m wrong and prove it.  The God Lord knows I’d sleep better at night realizing that I was a fool rather than worrying about the world in which I’ll be leaving my children.
