The reply to Theresa Fritz Camoriano's letter regarding the proposed new
arena in Louisville saying her message would be forwarded to the Mayor and
Board of Alderman as Concern #661813 is further evidence of lack of personal
communication in this country.  Whatever happened to the old fashioned concern for others' opinions and a personal reply?  If you do receive one, Resa, please let us know.

Meanwhile, my husband has been trying to contact an internet service provider
from whom he ordered an internet service three weeks ago. He was unable to speak to anyone in person, despite the many buttons he pushed.  Similarly, a
friend of ours spent a frustrating hour on the phone trying to get in touch with her insurance company regarding a bill for a flu shot.  When she finally did get a "live" person, she was told they were unable to cover the cost because the charge for the flu shot was too low, although the company paid it last year. She was unable to find any person "higher up" to talk to.  With all of our technology, it seems we are in the back ages regarding personal communication!

As for the arena, it seems many of the big cities are vying for a piece of the pie regarding sports arenas.  Kansas City promoters were recently trying to justify building another arena downtown, despite the fact that the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals each have beautiful outdoor arenas which are the pride of our city.

Our thanks to you,  Donna Mancini and the others who made the latest issue of
the Jefferson Review such thought-provoking reading.
