I always read with much attention what you and Resa write.  It provides another view on America, the life, the rights, the value and the sense of the freedom, never appreciated as much as now.  As for us, Berlusconi, taking advantage of the moment, has pushed for the passage of new government laws which are somewhat debatable, in the name of a " freedom " which is enjoyed only by a privileged few, and which coincides strangely with his interests. The international situation is more and more intricate and worrisome. I follow with baited breath, trying not to let us down when the hour comes which calls us: the individual responsibility as an ethical imperative and as a political struggle. I embrace you and your task with affection.
