Friends of Liberty:

 KY Senator Dan Kelly from Springfield; Majority Floor Leader,  will speak 
to the Jefferson Counrt Libertarian Party, regarding issues of interest and the upcoming 2002 Legislative session at our September 13th Meeting.    The
Honorable Senator Dan Seum  will also be in  attendance, and will take questions  as well as discuss  the issues with us.

 I am changing the format of the  meeting in order  to allow the speaker to either EAT  with us and socialize before the meeting, or come later and skip the meal entirely, but for those of you who are regulars, you know the problems we are having with getting the food and the speaker either talking while  WE eat , & having their meal sit and get cold, if they eat at all.

 Social time 6:30PM or earlier if you want
Begin ordering food  ASAP Orders placed by 6:45  Eat and hold our meeting between 6 :45 and 7:30PM. This also lets us have time to talk and not rush when discussing our own ideas.  Meal winding down or over when speaker starts at 7:30  Sharp! (Speaker  gets undivided attention, and is not interrupted by  waiter,
checks, etc)

I am going to ask EX INN to try to  do a better job with the checks, but  we still have to realize we have a good deal with ordering what we want, with no set  minimum,  and separate checks, and cut them some slack.
