Political leaders from both parties ought to proceed with caution when it comes to issuing blanket statements of support for Israel.
This latest Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not the first, and it won’t
be the last. The Biblical conflict between Jews and Arabs has been around much longer than our Republic. As Harry
Truman so candidly put it, “Jesus Christ couldn’t please them, so why would you think I could?”
