LIBERTY MOVEMENT SURGES IN ITALY

Alberto Mingardi reports that a Milan-area seminar he organized on Frederic Bastiat drew over 300 people! A featured speaker was Antonio Martino, noted economist, MP and former Italian Foreign Minister. Martino spoke at ISIL’s 1997 Rome conference, and his daughter Alberta was one of the main organizers.

Northern Italy is becoming one of the hot spots in the world libertarian movement, thanks to mounting popular discontent with the national government in Rome  also thanks to dynamic young activists like Alberto.
