Regarding
Rep. Kathy Stein's correspondence with the editor of the
JeffersonReview.com: I guess she forgot that her e-mail is paid for by the
taxpayers (partisan ones as well as nonpartisan) and can be used for any
correspondence those taxpayers see fit to send to her. Her elitist
attitude is indicative of the "enlightened," in Frankfort as
well as
Washington. Better "partisan" Ms. Stein than narrow minded. In
her defense however, I would have simply deleted her name and been done
with her. Considering Ms. Stein's political persuasion, it was probably a
waste of effort to have sent the JeffersonReview.com to her in the first
place; but no sense arguing with such a person (though I know it
"feels" good, and I myself have been guilty of the same thing in
the past). Like my father used to say: "Never give advice; a wise man
doesn't need it and a fool won't listen."
