THIS WEEK'S LINKS

1-----1-----1

Is there a homosexual-activist agenda being stealthily forced on California parents by the Department of Education? That's how it appears with the Superintendent Delaine Eastin's announcement last week of task force
recommendations ostensibly to protect homosexual students. See how good intentions can become "Tyranny Naked."

Florida moved a step closer to a $50 million business tax credit when the state Senate approved the measure. Georges Clowes comments on the anti-choice camp's strategy, noting that opponents of vouchers may be able to stop tax credits the same way. They are not fooled by the label "tax credits,"--stealth vouchers, as Marshall Fritz calls them. Also, they make no distinction between private and government scholarship programs, which in most cases is correct since private programs look for government money. Tax credit fans need to heed his warning: "[N]o school choice option is likely
to be free of calls for additional regulation." (Copy and paste long urls into your browser.)

Cracks in the Edifice: Teachers' have supposedly brought "education to a halt" in Hawaii, according to NEA President Bob Chase, showing typical edu-hubris
by equating schooling with learning. But some parents aren't waiting around for the strike to end.

EduAbsurdity: Green Hair Leads to Disciplinary Action. "Marie Whitehead may have liked her green hair, but officials at her middle school didn't.... Columbia Middle School students are not allowed
to dye their hair any unnatural color, Superintendent Brent Beamish said Monday." (One wonders if there
might be something--ANYTHING--more important to do with your time, Brent.--Ed.)

HELP UPGRADE Sepschool.org

Each day, we get from 4 to 6 new signers of the Proclamation via the Internet. On peak days when we are mentioned in a popular on-line newsletter, we have gotten as many at 100 new signers. I am
convinced with effort, we can make 100 per day the standard. That's 3,000 new signers per month.

Here's our two-step plan:
1) Upgrade the website so it looks better, is better organized, and sells merchandise on-line.
2) Start pushing to get more traffic.

Steve Brock is already hard at work redesigning
www.sepschool.org. Take a peek.
http://sbrock.hobbiton.org/clients/sepschool/

But he can't continue without funding. Can you please donate some part of the $25,000 webpage budget we have for this year? Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Please email your contribution amounts to
mailto:Morgen@psnw.com If you pay by credit card, have her call you back for the number so all is secure.

We're winning...

...but we can't continue this invaluable
outreach strategy without your financial support.

Thank you, Marshall Fritz

FINAL THOUGHT

"If public housing is welfare, public schooling is welfare. If a free lunch at noon is welfare, a free math class at
10:00 am is welfare."
