Rep. John Conyers of Michigan has introduced legislation - HR 40 - which
provides for "reparations" to be paid to Black Americans for slavery. You
had better contact your representatives NOW, before this thing gains too
much momentum, and let them know where you stand on this matter. I can
assure you, IF you don't speak up loud and clear, this measure WILL pass.
If not now, soon. If not this particular version, some version. If that
thought doesn't bother you then, would you mind volunteering to pay my
portion of this extortion? My people didn't come to this country until
AFTER the War Between the States and we never owned any slaves. However, as a baptized Catholic of German/Irish descent, many of my people have  been persecuted throughout history as well and, so, it is entirely possible that some of you owe me anyway. - CAB
