Susan Wise Bauer and Jessie Wise, co-authors of the best-selling book, The Well Trained Mind, will be presenting a detailed step by step seminar on the Classical approach to Education. The seminar will feature the following 5 sessions:

I. An overview of the Classical Education

II. Academic Excellence K-4

III. Academic Excellence 5-8

IV. Academic Excellence 9-12

V. Writing without Fear

The conference will be held at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy., Louisville, KY 40243-1845. The cost of the conference is $20.00 per person (spouse is free). There will be an earlybird discount of $5.00 if registered by March 1, 2001. Childcare will not be available and no children will be admitted except for nursing infants under 12 months of age. The conference hours are 9:00 - 4:00 on Friday and 9:00 - 12:30 on Saturday. Registration will be held from 8:00-9:00 AM on Friday.

Lunch will be provided on Friday for an additional $5.00 for those who register by March 1, 2001. The lunch will consist of 2 pieces of pizza and a soft drink. If interested in the pizza lunch please mark the appropriate space on the registration form, otherwise there are restaurants in the vicinity.
