The Republican Party’s Liberty Caucus Promotes
Training
*******************************
Saddle Up!
OK. Christmas is over and the new year is right around the corner. All
this talk about "bipartisan cooperation" is a bunch of
flapdoodle. The Democrats are already laying plans to derail George W's
agenda ... as well as take outright control of both houses of Congress
in 2002. So in a few days, our holiday furlough will be over and it'll
be time to "lock and load" and march back into battle again.
And that means...
Training ... Training ... Training
The GOP lost a LOT of campaigns in 2000 ... NOT because we had bad
candidates ... but because they ran bad campaigns. And that's because
the candidates ... and/or their campaign managers ... and/or their
strategists ... and/or their staffs ... and/or their consultants ...
and/or their volunteers ... and/or their precinct coordinators ...
and/or their party leaders ... didn't know what the hell they were
doing.
They only THOUGHT they knew.
If we're going to avoid blowing winnable races again in 2002, our folks
MUST learn the RIGHT ways to conduct a campaign and/or run a political
organization. And when it comes to political training, there's no better
organization for conservatives in the country than the non-partisan ...
Leadership Institute.
LI is located just outside Washington, DC in the Virginia suburb of
Arlington ... but they also conduct a number of their training seminars
in cities coast-to-coast. Yours truly will be one of the volunteer field
instructors at an upcoming "GRASSROOTS SCHOOL" in Ft. Worth,
Texas in a few weeks. If you're serious about winning in 2001-2002, you
should consider joining us ... or catch one in a different city sometime
soon (check the full training schedule at www.leadershipinstitute.com).
The GRASSROOTS SCHOOL is an intense and comprehensive a two-day program
which covers...
* Campaign Organization
* Recruiting Volunteers
* Strategy & Message
* Opposition Research
* Voter ID
* Targeting
* Voter Mail
* Door-to-Door Campaigning
* Phone Programs
* Get-Out-the-Vote
* Public Relations
* Earned Media
* Building Coalitions
* Fundraising
* Fundraising
* And More Fundraising
The Ft. Worth school will be held on Saturday & Sunday, January
13-14. (Among the other instructors joining us will be the incomparable
and irrepressible Ron Nehring of Americans for Tax Reform.) The two-day
school will be held at the offices of the Broadcast Communications Group
at 6350 W. Freeway in Ft. Worth. The cost, which includes all training
materials and handouts, is a paltry $49 ... and easily worth 10 times
that!
If you're serious about winning, you need to be there. If you can't
afford to go ... you REALLY need to be there. Fundraising, like it or
not, is critical to winning ... period. And nobody teaches it better
than the Leadership Institute.
To register or get additional information, call Amy Hamilton at LI at
(800) 827-5323, extension 230. Be there or be square ... ya'll.

P.S. For truly DEAD-SERIOUS candidates, campaign professionals and party
leaders, LI conducts a week-long "super-school" on CAMPAIGN
MANAGEMENT. That school runs March 18-24 this year. I may be a trainer
myself, but I've been through this school twice now ... and will be
attending again this year. You're never too good or know so much that
this program isn't of extreme value.
This particular program is ONLY available at LI's Virginia campus. The
tuition is just $149 ... and includes all materials and most meals. In
addition, free lodging in the campus dorms is available on a
first-come/first-serve basis.
If you really, really, REALLY want to be a giant in political activism
... you really, really, REALLY need to enroll in this school. Seats are
limited, so clear your calendar and sign up today. (800) 827-5323. (And
if you ask for Matt Lewis at extension 229 and tell him Chuck Muth sent
you, maybe you'll even be able to get a full or partial scholarship to
offset the tuition cost. But these scholarships are VERY limited ... so
call Matt ASAP)
