Salem Media Group has hosted a national tour focused on important swing states each Presidential election year since 2004.  SMG’s nationally syndicated talent travel to the most important election states for large public events hosted by SMG’s local radio stations.  The events are designed to motivate the local audiences to turnout for the election and to educate audiences about the most important issues in the national political debate.  Salem Media Group’s engagement in the national political scene was considerably elevated this election cycle due to SMG’s partnership with CNN on four Republican Presidential Debates.

Past battleground talkers tour participants have included SMG hosts Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, Mike Gallagher, and Bill Bennett, along with actor Jon Voight, Karl Rove, Governor Kasich, and Senator Joe Lieberman.

“Decision 2016” features SMG hosts Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Mike Gallagher, actor Jon Voight, and elected officials from each state.  Over seven days SMG radio stations will hold events in nine cities in important swing states where voters may determine who will control the White House, the US Senate, and Congress.

Decision 2016 events are free to the public. Local radio stations in each market will be encouraging listeners to bring undecided friends and family members to hear from some of the brightest political commentators to help them make an informed decision in 2016.
