:AHHS member Attorney Mark Webster will review “Fire and Light, How the Enlightenment Transformed Our World” by James MacGregor Burns. The personalities and ideas that embody the best in Western Civilization. Understanding them is essential for all of us.

Looking forward to our August 20th meeting:

The building of the Erie Canal is a most riveting story of American ingenuity. The story of the canal’s construction in the first quarter of the 19th. Century. The social, political and economic ramifications of this mammoth project.

As always all of our meetings are open to the public.
